A service will be held at 11:00am Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at The Olanta Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Born in Florence County she was the daughter of the late Duncan Thompson and Margaret Lennicent Tomlinson. She was an educator and taught at Olanta High School, a life long member and elder of Olanta Presbyterian Church, a past president of The Olanta Garden Club, member of Board of the Library Foundation and a avid bridge player. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert R. Anderson Sr.. Three Brothers, Billy Thompson, Bobby Thompson and Ted Thompson. She is survived by one Daughter, Jennie (Rich) Watts of Pottstown, PA. One Son, Richard (Frankie) Anderson of Florence, SC. Two grandchildren, Melissa (Chuck) Bye and Ashley Anderson.
