Jamie Ray Coker

TURBEVILLE – Jamie Ray Coker, 56, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2022, at McLeod Health Clarendon, Born March 19, 1966, in Florence County he was a son of Mary Ann Bryant Coker and the late Stanley Lamar Coker, Sr. He was a member of the Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church. He was a Veteran of US Navy and Army National Guard. He is survived by his mother of Turbeville; two daughters, Tara Coker (Wes) and Kelsey (Charles) C. Blackwell of Turbeville; three grandchildren, Colton Blackwell, Klyde Blackwell, and Paislynn Blackwell; one brother, Stanley (Pam) of Woodlawn, TN; one sister, Corrie (Tyson) Mims of Turbeville; three nephews and four nieces; eight great nieces and nephews; and Jamie’s “Honey” Carol Green. He was preceded in death by his father; his step father, Col. Larry Coker; maternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Blease Bryant; and paternal grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Erby Davis Coker. There will be a private graveside service for family and close friends, 2 PM on Monday, January 30, 2023, at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.
