Olanta - Janet Elaine Kettering, age 76 passed away peacefully Sunday, December 2, 2018 at McLeod Hospice House. Funeral services will be 3pm Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at Cornerstone Ministries with burial in New Hope Christian Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2-3pm prior to the funeral service at the church. Born in Sharon, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of the late William Jennings Gill and Margarite Nyman Gill. She was a member of Cornerstone Ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles henry Kettering, Jr.; a brother, Jay Gill. Surviving are a daughter, Dawn K. Hicks (Tim) of Olanta; a son, Charles Kettering, III (Robin) of Lake City; a brother, John David Gill of Brookfield, Ohio; six grandchildren.
