Jean Marie Hardy

Turbeville Jean Marie Hardy, age 76, passed away peacefully Monday, March 11, 2019, at her home. Services will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019, at 4 pm at The Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13, 2019, from 6-8 pm at Floyd Funeral Home, Olanta, SC. Born in Olanta, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Eugene and Inez Mixon Green. She was retired from SC Disability Board in Florence and Clarendon counties and was a former substitute teacher for Clarendon School District 3. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wendell Bruce "Winky" Hardy; one daughter, Kimberly Coker Barrineau; one brother, Henry Green. Surviving are two daughters, Robin Coker Walsh of Charleston, SC, and Melissa Coker Floyd of Turbeville, SC; one son, Robert C. Coker of Turbeville; one sister Jeanette G. Lee of Lake City, SC; one brother Johnny Green of Turbeville, SC; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roper Hospice Cottage, 676 Wando Boulevard, Mt.
