Jimmy K. Pierce, Sr. Timmonsville Jimmy Keith Pierce, Sr. age 62, passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at his residence after a illness. A service will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Monday night at the funeral home. Born in Florence County he was a son of Reverend James Allard Pierce and Annie Ruth Bullard Pierce. He was a carpenter and steel worker for 25 years, an avid hunter and fisherman until he became disabled. He attended Florence School District and attended Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. He is survived by three daughters, Tonya Thornhill of Florence, Lynn Thornhill of Myrtle Beach, Jeannie Pierce of Columbus Georgia; one son, Keith Pierce of Florence; one sister, Vickie Davis of Timmonsville; one brother Jerry Pierce of Timmonsville; three grandchildren.
