Joe Sirah "Cye" Dorrell

Lake City Joe Sirah "Cye" Dorrell, age 46, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at his home after an illness. Funeral services will be 3pm today (Sunday) at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Born in Florence County, he was a son of Kathleen Floyd Dorrell and the late Willie Joe Dorrell. He attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church and Sunday school services all of his life. He was preceded in death by his father; a sister, Kathy Joette Dorrell; a brother, Joel Dorrell. Surviving are his mother, Kathleen Floyd Dorrell of Lake City, a daughter, Kayla Bryant of Turbeville; a son, Staff Sergeant Josh Anderson of California; a sister, Jeneen (Glen) McKenzie of Lake City; two nieces, one nephew.
