Joe W. Lee Effingham Our loving "Daddy" Joseph William Lee age 74, passed away at the home of his daughter Francine (Anthony) Floyd after a long battle with cancer. Services will be held at 11 AM Monday, November 2, 2015 at Lebanon Free Will Baptist Church with burial in Matthews Cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be held Sunday night from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Born in Florence County he was a son of the late Lura D. Lee and Travis S. Lee. He was retired from Singleton Construction Company where he worked for 28 years, loved hunting and fishing, and was a faithful member of Murrells Inlet Church of God until his health declined. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Lunette McClam and Audrey Knotts; two brothers, Lavell "Buddy" Lee, L. D Lee. He is survived by three daughters, Francine (Anthony) Floyd, Audrey (Joe) Llewellyn, Paula (Doug) Floyd all of Effingham; one sister, Valeria Revell of Effingham; two brothers, McGhan (Faye) Lee, Orell (Suzanne) Lee both of Effingham; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A special "Thank You" to his nieces, Iris Kirby, Pam Kelley, & Daisy Allen for all their love and support. Also to the McLeod Hospice for their loving care and support.
