Johnnie Franklin Wilkes

TIMMONSVILLE – Johnnie Franklin Wilkes, 66, widower of Janice Matthews Wilkes, died Friday, August 20, 2021, at McLeod Hospice House. Born January 16, 1955, in Olanta, he was a son of Wyane Porter Wilkes and the late Eustil Wilkes. He was a heavy machine operator in the construction industry throughout his career. He is survived by his mother; one daughter, Susan Benton (Joseph) of Timmonsville; one son, Kenneth Heyward (Renee) of Timmonsville; twelve grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; two brothers, Stevie Wilkes of Timmonsville and Kenneth Wilkes of Kingstree.
