Joseph Daniel Vause

Joseph Daniel Vause Timmonsville Mr. Joseph Daniel Vause, age 66, died Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home after an illness. Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Unity Christian Fellowship with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight (Saturday) from 6-8pm. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late William LeRoy Vause and Edith Forde Vause. Mr. Vause was retired from construction, and was a member of Unity Christian Fellowship. He is preceded in death by his first wife, mother of his four children; Sylvia Mae Strickland Vause. Two brothers, George Dale Vause and Lester Marion Forde. Surviving are his wife, Martha Pearline Vause of Timmonsville. Two daughters, Amy Melissa Cook of Timmonsville and Candy Vause Lambert of Georgetown. Two sons, Joseph Daniel Vause, Jr. of Santee and LeRoy Melvin Vause of Timmonsville. A step-daughter, Darlene Locklair of Olanta. A step-son, Danny Matthews of Scranton. Three sisters, Martha Ann Whitt of West Virginia, Avis Jean Richburg and Sharon Alberta Weatherford both of Florence. One brother, Calvin LeRoy Vause of Florence. Thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Unity Christian Fellowship, 3652 Olanta Highway, Timmonsville, S.C. 29161.
