Funeral services will be 3pm Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, with burial in Hillside Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Florence, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday (tonight) at the funeral home. Born in Hyman, S.C. she was a daughter of the late Myrick C. Powers and Martha Ellen Tanner Powers. Mrs. DuBose was a past president of the Rose Garden Club, past president of the Mellette Circle and adult Sunday school teacher for many years at New Town Free Will Baptist Church, Charter member of Hillside Free Will Baptist Church, a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church where she was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She worked with the Olanta Business Association for many years, was a Interior Decorator for Olanta Floor Covering, and enjoyed crafts, sewing, landscaping and helping others. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Raymond Stone. A son, Bonnie Oneal DuBose, Jr. Three sisters and four brothers. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Bonnie DuBose of Olanta. Two daughters, Susanne Thigpen (Oneal) and Ginger Ard (Brian) both of Olanta. Two sons, Earl Stone (Deborah) and Ryan DuBose (Anna) both of Olanta, and one special son that she raised and called her own, Cliff Wilbanks. A sister, Nellie Powers of Manning. A brother, Jesse Powers of Charleston. Seven grandchildren, eight Great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
