Julia Pearline Joye Driggers

ROCKINGHAM – Julia Pearline Joye Driggers, 91, widow of Rev. Leonard DuRant Driggers, entered into heavenly rest on Monday, February 28, 2022. She was born July 23, 1930 in Johnsonville, SC a daughter of the late George Bunyon Joye and the late Eppie Hughes Joye. She was a member of East Rockingham Pentecostal Holiness Church. As a pastor’s wife, she and her husband served the Lord in many capacities proclaiming the Gospel. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by a daughter, Lynn Driggers Jones (Robbie) of Chesapeake, VA; two granddaughters, Cynthia Hendrix (Ken) of Lavonia, GA and Christa Mayfield (Alex) of Boston, MA; and four great grandchildren, Jossalynn Hendrix, Avenleigh Hendrix, Dresden Hendrix, and Pasco Mayfield. A funeral service will be held 11 A.M. on Thursday, March 3, 2022, in the Chapel of Floyd Funeral Home with Pastor Robbie Jones officiating. The committal service will be held in the funeral home chapel with a private burial. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. The family request that memorials be made to Emmanuel College, 181 Spring St, Franklin Springs, GA 30639.
