Julian Perstell Carmon, Sr.

Julian Perstell Carmon, Sr. age 83, died July 4, 2010 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock pm Wednesday July 7, 2010 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Jehu Perstell Carmon and Eliza Lee Carmon. He was a retired farmer and painter. Surviving are his wife, Ruth Ard Carmon of Timmonsville, two daughters, Carol Diane Carmon and Evelyn Marie Carmon both of Timmonsville, a son, Ronnie Perstell Carmon, Jr. of Timmonsville, one sister, Doris Carmon (Major) Tedder of Timmonsville.
