Julian Stanley Vause

Timmonsville Julian Stanley Vause, age 59, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2019, after a long battle with cancer. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church. Born in Florence County, he was the son of Mrs. Yvonne Doolittle Vause and the late Julian J. Vause. Stan worked for Rivers Mechanical Contracting until his illness, prior to that he worked at Case Construction for twenty-nine years. He was highly skilled in his profession and looked up to by his peers. He was a graduate of South Florence High School, he played baseball all of his youth and his love for sports continued throughout his life. He was an avid golfer and a committed Clemson fan. He was preceded in death by his father, Julian J. Vause. Surviving are his wife, Laura Cox Vause of Holly Hill; a son, Shawn Vause; a daughter, Danielle Vause (Steven) of Florence; two grandchildren, Aubrey Grace, and Clayton James; sisters Debbie (Bebe) Ham of Timmonsville, Wendy (Brian) Vesco of Florence, and Gaye Vause of Aiken.
