Juliette Cook Osborne

TURBEVILLE – Lily Juliette Cook Osborne, 89, widow of Robert Junius Osborne, entered her eternal rest on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee. Born January 24, 1933, in Lake City, SC, she was a daughter of the late William Clifton Cook and the late Ruby Collins Cook. Mrs. Juliette was a member of Turbeville Southern Methodist Church where she served in many capacities in the church. She loved the Women’s Missionary Society, her Sunday school class, and the mission’s program of the church. She was retired from East Clarendon Middle/High School as the food service supervisor; was a leader of the 60 Plus Turbeville Group. She is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Glenn) Wall and Connie Carolyn Osborne both of Florence; two sons, John W. “Skippy” (Deb) Osborne of New Zion and Jeffrey Collins Osborne of Turbeville; one daughter-in-law, Annelle C. Osborne of Florence; ten grandchildren, Dr. Brian P. (Angela) Wall, Jennifer Wall, Whitney (Brandon) Crutchfield, Jordan Hardy Osborne, Margaret Tori Osborne, Martha Taylor Osborne, Robert Justin Osborne, Wesley Swain Osborne, Joseph Ravenel Osborne, and Andrew Graham Osborne; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 39 years; one son, Robert J. Osborne, Jr.; two sisters, Evelyn Stewart and Dorothy Hawkins; and three brothers, William Cook, James M. Cook, and Allen Cook. A funeral service will be held 11 AM on Saturday, April 30, 2022, at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with Rev. Dr. John W. “Billy” Griffith and Rev. Patrick Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stephen Dukes, Trey Watts, Scott Green, John Hardy, Shad Welch, and George Knowlton. The family will receive guest following the graveside service at the cemetery. Because of Mr. Mutt and Mrs. Juliette’s love for the missions ministry of the church, the family request that memorials be made to the General Missions Fund, c/o Turbeville Southern Methodist Church, P.O.
