Kenneth Alvin Harrington

NEW ZION – Kenneth Alvin Harrington, 53, husband of Terri W. Harrington, passed away at his home on Friday, April 28, 2023. Born January 2, 1970, in Sumter, he was a son of the late Hugh Alvin Harrington and the late Barbara Leigh Gibbons Harrington. He was a member of the Sardinia Presbyterian Church. He was the Branch Manager for FluidFlow Compressed Air Division. He is survived by his wife of 31 years; two sons, Matthew Clarke Harrington of Greenville and Zachary Thomas Harrington of Gable; one brother, Michael (Deborah) Harrington of Effingham; two sisters, Cindy (Steve) Brunson of Davis Station and Laura (Bobby) Floyd of Barrineau; his loving parents-in-law, Tommy and Faye Gillespie of Gable; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 3pm on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at the Sardinia Presbyterian Church with Rev. Zachary Simmons and Rev. Robert Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in the New Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service at the church. Pallbearers will be David Floyd, Pete Yates, Trey Weeks, B.D. Yarborough, Thomas Evans, Ellis Evans, and Joel Welch.
