Christie Weaver Olanta Mr. Larry Christie Weaver, age 64, passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at McLeod Hospice House after an illness. A funeral service will be 3pm Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Bethany Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service. Born in Olanta, he was a son of the late W. Deleon Weaver and Gertie Sims Weaver. He was a loving father and grandfather, and loved his friends at Central Mini Stop. Surviving are his companion, Gale Feagin of Olanta. A daughter, Tammy Horton (Owens) of Olanta. A son, Shay Christopher Weaver (Sherry) of Florence. Two brothers, Terrace Weaver (Mary Lynn) of Turbeville and John Wesley Weaver (Traci) of Olanta. Six grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Horton both of Olanta, Jessica and Nathan Weaver both of Florence and Ethaneal and Elyssa Feagin both of Sumter. The family would like to express their gratitude for the care that was provided by the Nurses and Staff of McLeod Hospice.
