Laurette Parker Green Turbeville Mrs. Laurette Parker Green, age 52, died Monday, May 30th, 2011 after an illness. Funeral services will be 10am, Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Turbeville Southern Methodist Church with burial in Pine Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6-8 Tuesday (tonight) May 31, 2011 at the funeral home. She is preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Lenair Parker and James Allen Parker. Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of Janie Mae Porter Parker and the late James William Parker. Surviving are her husband, Herbert Vere Green of Turbeville. Two sons, Stephen (Leah) Lacy Gibbons, Jr. of Lincolnton, N.C. and Jason Thomas Green of Summerville, S.C. Two stepsons, Ty (Mary Beth) Alan Green of Turbeville and Bryan (Amy) Everett Green of Spartanburg, S.C. Five grandchildren, Mary Katherine Green, Branson Michael Green, Langston Lee Green, Rowan Elizabeth Green and Grant Lane Gibbons.
