Linda Kirby Green

TURBEVILLE – Mrs. Linda Gail Kirby Green, 77, wife of Wayne Ferrell Green, Sr., entered her eternal rest on Friday, May 10, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. Born October 18, 1946 in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Cecil Manning Kirby and the late Clarice Thornhill Kirby. She was a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church in Turbeville. Linda graduated from Central Carolina Technical College with a degree in nursing and was a retired nurse from McLeod Regional Medical Center. She is survived by her husband of 57 years; three sons, Wayne Ferrell Green, Jr. of Miami, FL, Kyle Kirby (Susan) Green, Sr. of Turbeville, and Lance McLauren (Jackie) Green of Turbeville; twelve grandchildren, Savanna, Alanah, Justin, Tripp, Kirby, Olivia, Marianna, Evan, Madison, Kinley, Julianna, and Mac; eight great-grandchildren, Tate, Waylon, Grey, John Michael, Trace, Rowan, Wylder, Ashton, and Elizabeth; and a special niece, Georgeanna Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Linda Gail Green; and a brother Glen “Butch” Kirby. A graveside memorial service will be held 2pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the Pine Grove Methodist Church Cemetery, Morgan Street, Turbeville, SC.
