Lizzie V. McKenzie Lake City Mrs. Lizzie Vienna Parker McKenzie, age 71, died Monday, August 1, 2011 at her home after an illness. Funeral services will be 11am Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Visitation will be tonight (Tuesday) from 6-8pm at the church. Born in Williamsburg County, she was a daughter of the late Roland Charles Springs and Lizzie Ploomer Conyers Springs. Mrs. McKenzie was a member of Floyd Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Levi Parker and Rezell McKenzie. A daughter, Faye Carolyn Parker. A granddaughter, Melanie Parker. Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Ann (Don) Coker of Kingstree. Two sons, Ronald Levi (Wanda) Parker and Roger Dale (Bobbie Jo) Parker both of Lake City. Seven brothers, Linwood (Shelby) Springs, Elwood (Linda) Springs, Oneal (Judy) Springs, Cecil (Elaine) Springs, Larry (Frances) Springs and Thurman (Cathy) Springs all of Lake City, and Wilbur (Pat) McGee of Cades. Five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Jennifer Poston and the staff of Amedysis Hospice for the care that was provided.
