Lula Jo HobbsHobbs CrossroadsLula Jo Hobbs, age 86, died March 25, 2012 at Lake City-Scranton Healthcare after an illness.Funeral services will be held 11am, Wednesday March 28, 2012 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 PM Tuesday.Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Lonnie McCutcheon and Myrtle Collins McCutcheon. Mrs. Hobbs was a member of Sardis Baptist Church and owner/operator of John Hobbs Grocery.She was preceded in death by her husband, John I. Hobbs. A sister, Ruth Wise Rogers. A brother, Johnnie McCutcheon. Surviving are a daughter, Betty Jo Hobbs (Charlie) Fryar of Lake City, two sons, Ivan (Claire) Hobbs of Simpsonville, and Duane (Becky) Hobbs of Lynchburg. Six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
