Margaret Coker Mccutcheon

Mrs. Margaret C. McCutcheon, age 85, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018 at McLeod Regional Medical Center after an illness. Funeral services will be held 3pm Sunday, March 11, 2018 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Clyde Coker and Elma Adeline McElveen Coker. She and her husband were the former owner's of Jim's IGA in Olanta, and she attended Olanta Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Durant McCutcheon, and a brother, Sherrill Coker. Surviving are a daughter, Debra Copeland of Lake City; two sons, James "Jimmy" McCutcheon (Patsy) of Olanta and Michael McCutcheon (Celeste) of Florence; three grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
