Peggy Margaret Mask West

TIMMONSVILLE – “Peggy” Margaret Mask West, age 79, wife of William West, entered into her eternal rest, surrounded by her loving family, on Monday November 6, 2023. Born October 22, 1944, in Columbia, SC, she was a daughter of the late Homer Mask and the late Margaret Herring Mask. She was a member of Grace Free Will Baptist Church in Lake City and MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers). She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved sports. She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Katherine Vu (Timmy Matthews) of Olanta, Margaret (Bill) Graham of Timmonsville, Charlene Vause and Amy Terrell both of Lexington; a special son, Phong Vu of Florence; eleven grandchildren, Samantha Vu, Bryant Vu, Vincent Vu, Jessie Bryant, R. G. Player, Mindy Hendricks, Kandi Wallace, Andrew Barfield, Jennifer “Ceara” Hill, Ashley Herndon, and Trey Bryant; Many great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Charlie Louis Bryant, Jr. A memorial service will take place 4pm on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Grace Free Will Baptist Church, 348 Lawrence Street, Lake City with Rev. Carroll Bazen officiating. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church and at other times at the home, 294 Blueberry Drive, Timmonsville, SC.
