A funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta, with burial in St. John United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Florence county, she was a daughter of the late Drayton Ellie Coward and Mamie Irene Gaymon Coward. She was a home maker and a member of Friendship Baptist Church of North Charleston. She is preceded in death by her husband, Garris Clark Coker. Surviving are two sons, Dale (Joann) Coker of Coupeville, Washington and Joseph Coker of North Charleston. Two sisters, Eloise Howard of Florence, Juanita Sanderlin of Mullins. Two grandchildren, Christine Armijo and Paul Coker. Three great grandchildren, Lealana, Isaiah, and Mary.
