Mary Louise Floyd

Lake City - Mary Louise Floyd, age 80, of the Barrineau community, passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Lake City Hospital after a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 4pm Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm prior to funeral service at church. Born in Sumter County, she was a daughter of the late Robert A. Wilkerson, Sr. and Letha Lawrence Wilkerson. She was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Archie Floyd; a sister, Joan Henderson; a brother, Michael Thomas Wilkerson. Surviving are a son, Melvin DuVal Ardis, Jr. of Sumter; a sister, Jane Osborne of Myrtle Beach; a brother, Robert A. Wilkerson, Jr. of Sumter; one granddaughter, Casey Ardis of Florence; two grandsons, Michael Shipley and Paul Shipley both of Timmonsville; and eight great grandchildren.
