Mary B. Ward

Lake City Mrs. Mary B. Ward, age 93, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at her home after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 3pm Friday, February 16, 2018 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Thomas Cemetery in Olanta, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service at the church from 1:30pm until 3pm. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late Dewey Vance Barrineau and Palmer Floyd Barrineau. She was a homemaker, and was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney "Zeke" Augustus Ward; a son, Jerry Van Lee; sisters, Ilene Moore and Gladys Daniels; brothers, Curtis V. Barrineau, R. Lyndell Barrineau, and Shelby R. Barrineau. Surviving are a son, Claude Oneal Lee of Lake City; sisters-in-law, Letha Barrineau,and Ann Barrineau both of Lake City; brother-in-law, Laverne Daniels of Lake City; grandchildren, Debbie Lee Harrell of Bluffton, and Traci Lee Rodgers of Pawleys Island; great grandchildren, Patrick Owen Rodgers of Pawleys Island, Sydney Leigh Harrell and Drew Covington Harrell both of Bluffton; and many special nieces and nephews.
