Mary Poston Welch Turbeville - Mary Poston Welch age 68, died August 12, 2016 at her home after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 7 PM Monday August 15 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta, the family will receive friends from 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Gary Poston and Catherine Coleman Poston. She was a homemaker and attended Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loran Lavern Welch, a daughter, Gail Lynn Welch, one son, Tracy Lavern Welch, three sisters, Ira Ard, Eddie Mae McClintoc and Louise Poston, three brothers, Henry Poston, Lucas Poston, and Rudolph Poston. Surviving are two sons, Timothy L. (Joni) Welch of Turbeville, and Lucius C. Welch of Cades, 5 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
