NEW ZION – Michael Tyler Ard, 33, died Thursday, March 10, 2022, at his residence. Born February 10, 1989, in Kingstree, he was a son of Lynette Mouzon Ard and the late James Manning Ard. Michael was a very talented artist and skilled musician. He loved his family and friends dearly and wanted to make them so proud. His beautiful heart reflected the life he always strived for. He is survived by his mother; the love of his life and Soul Mate, Summer Lynn Durante of Hartsville; three brothers, James Richard Ard (China) of Greeleyville, Robert Anthony Ard (Tina) of Turbeville, and Jamie Nexsen of Kingstree; a sister-in-law, Deborah Ard of New Zion; his biological grandmother, Nell Ward (Otis) of Kingstree; his biological mother, Elizabeth Stanley of Kingstree; one aunt, Rhonda Boswell (William) of Kingstree; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; and two brothers, Thomas Christopher Ard and Christopher Ward. A funeral Service will be held 1 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in the chapel of Floyd Funeral Home with Minister Walter McClam officiating. Burial will follow in the Mouzon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Will Evans, Shawn Owens, Robert Gray, William Boswell II, Demos Buques, Nick Lingerman, Peejay Truesdale and Dusty Driggers. Visitation will be held from 11 – 1 P.M. on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the funeral home and at other times at the home of Deborah Ard, 3958 Fire Tower Road, New Zion, SC.
