Michael "Mike" Frederick Pressley

Michael Pressley Lake City Michael Frederick Pressley, age 51, passed away Wednesday, December 26, 2012 at his residence, 3318 McKenzie Road. A graveside service will be held at 3 pm Friday, December 28, 2012 at Olanta Baptist Church Cemetery, visitation will be held from 1-3 pm prior to the service at Floyd Funeral Home. Born in Seneca, South Carolina he was a son of Fred Pressley and Daisy Omagene Hunnicut Pressley. He was a United States Army Veteran, he was associated with Buddy's Music of Lake City, and was a member of Union Cross Roads Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Pressley; a brother, Bud Standridge. He is survived by his wife Alvina McKenzie Pressley of Lake City; one daughter, Joanie Barker (Thomas) of Eastanolle, Ga.; two sons, Matthew Pressley and Samuel Pressley of the home; six grandchildren; two sisters Anna and Pat, and one brother T. J. all of Georgia.
