Milton Earl Thomas

Turbeville – Milton Earl Thomas age 74, passed away Saturday, September 16, 2023 at his residence after an illness. Born in Sumter County, he was a son of the late Frank Kelly Thomas and Mary Robinson Thomas. He was retired from Santee Print in Sumter as a print press machine operator. He is survived by two daughters, Deanna M. (David) Richardson of Turbeville, Kristie Thomas Welch of Lexington; one son, Travis E. (Tonyelle) Thomas of Lake City; 4 grandchildren, Rian (Amber) McElveen, Chandler Morris, Ansley Morse, and Teagan Thomas; great-grandchild, Cora McElveen; one sister, Debbie Poole of Sumter; two brothers, Ray (Laurence) Thomas of Elgin, Bill Thomas of Sumter; special friends, Gail Barwick of Manning, John Elms of Sumter. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Laura Hutchinson; wife, Cindy L. Thomas; one grandchild, Staley McElveen. A memorial service will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2023 at Floyd Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service.
