Miriam Floyd

Lake City Ms. Miriam Floyd, age 78, died Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from injuries sustained in an accident. A memorial service will be 11am Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta. Born in Kingstree, she was a daughter of the late Talmadge Floyd and Lula Mae Mims. Surviving are a daughter, Alice T. Lewis of Cades. Three sons, Robert Thompson of Effingham, Timmy Thompson of Lake City, and Thomas G. Thompson of Kernersville, N.C.. Four sisters, Joyce Pruitt of Lilburn, GA, Phillis Downing of Andrews, Faye Hall and Rai McDonald both of McBee. Numerous granchildren, nieces and nephews.
