Motie Kirby Coleman Timmonsville Mrs. Motie Kirby Coleman passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Pee Dee Gardens in Florence. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday June 5, 2016 at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 6 - 8 PM Saturday at the funeral home, and other times at the home of Teresa & Ray Miles, 4768 Sardis Highway, Timmonsville, S.C. She was born in Timmonsville, and was a daughter of the late Ralph Waldo Kirby and Hattie Elizabeth Langston Kirby. She was educated in the Bonaire schools and was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, and the Hattie Kirby Circle of the church where she was very faithful until her health deteriorated. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Bradley Coleman; five brothers, Burnett Kirby, Waldo Kirby, Habron Kirby, Emerson Kirby, and Gordon Kirby; four sisters, Winnie Lou DeFee, Charlotte Anderson, Rheba Hinson, and Cordelia Dorrell. Surviving are two sisters, Bonnie (Laverne) Mixon of Timmonsville, and Valeria Mims of Florence, a special niece, Teresa Miles and special nephew,, Kevin Mixon, and several other nieces and nephews, a special friend who visited her faithfully, Mrs. Yvonne Vause.
