Abbie W. Dorrell Longs Mr. Abbie Woodrow Dorrell, age 74, formerly of Olanta, passed away Sunday July 3, 2016 at a Florence hospital after an illness. A funeral service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight (Monday, July 4th, 2016) from 6-8PM. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Dudd Willie Dorrell and Susannah Driggers Dorrell. He is preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Dorrell; three brothers, Raymond Dorrell, Roger Dorrell, Willie Joe Dorrell; one sister, Euvena McKenzie. He is survived by one son, Stacy Dorrell of Scranton; one sister, Brenda (BoBo) Matthews of Scranton; dear friends, Val and Diann Loretti.
