Olanta Charlie M. "Junior" Graham, Jr. age 84, passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at McLeod Hospice House in Florence. Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Olanta Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday, November 24, 2017 from 6-8pm at the funeral home. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Charlie M. Graham and Annie Lou S. Graham. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, original Board of Directors member with the Olanta Medical Board, past volunteer fireman with the Olanta Fire Department, former Olanta Town Council member, a Mason with Beulah Lodge #259 and served as Past Master, member of the Olanta Lions Club, owned and operated Jr. Grocery Store, and retired after 50 years from R.E. Goodson Construction. He was a member of the Olanta Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Director, Training union Director, and taught R.A. Boys. Mr. Junior was a faithful Gamecock fan, loved Nascar's Jimmy Johnson, and the Atlanta Braves #1 fan. Mr. Graham was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters, Courtney and Caroline Graham. A sister, Ila Ruth Graham. Four brothers, Baxter Graham, Clarence Graham, Luther Graham, and Alton Graham. Two half-sisters, Ethel G. Strickland, and Julia G. Oakley. A half-brother, Cornelius Graham. Surviving are his wife, Marie Calcutt Graham; two sons, James Allen "Bo Bo" Graham (Darlene), and Charles Anthony "Tony" Graham (Patricia) all of Olanta. Grandchildren, Zachary Graham (Whitley) of Kingstree, Anthony Graham, Ashley Miles (Chance) all of Olanta. A sister, Linda G. Myrick (Lyn) of Florence. A brother, Lonnie Francis Graham (Sally) of Olanta. The family would like to thank the Heritage Home Warley St. hall for their love and support to Mr. Junior and his family during his illness, and the wonderful nurses and Dr. Vipul Shah at the McLeod Hospice House.
