Mr. Coy Evander Green, Jr.

Coy Evander Green, Jr. age 66, died November 22, 2020 at his home after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church in Turbeville, visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church, with burial in the church cemetery directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Mr. Green was born in Clarendon County, a son of the late Van Green, Sr., and Emily Carolyn McElveen Green. He was a graduate of East Clarendon Schools, was formerly employed with Clarendon County Sheriff's Department, and as an officer for South Carolina Department of Transportation. He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Green; daughters, Emily "Emmie" Shearer (David) of Turbeville, Carol Green (Jamie Coker) of Turbeville, Kayleigh Hunter of Turbeville, and Breanna Green (Hunter) of Turbeville; son, Curtis Green (Tiffany) of Turbeville; step-sons, Jamie Burrows (Heidi) of Kingstree, TJ Burrows (Katie) of Kingstree, and Carl Burrows of Kingstree; sisters, Connie Huth (Fred) of Turbeville, Sharon Floyd of Turbeville, Tammy Sullivan of Turbeville, Terri Tabor of Manning, and Cheryl Barwick of Turbeville; 21 grandchildren and one great- grandchild; special friends, Starlin Welch and Bennie Welch of Barrineau. Covid-19 Precautions will be followed at all services (masks and social distancing). The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their love and care during his illness.
