Mr. David Wilson Floyd, Sr.

David Wilson Floyd, Sr. New Zion David Wilson Floyd, Sr. age 81, died Sunday, May 31, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family after an extended illness. A graveside service will be held at 4 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. Born in Florence County he was a son of the late Walter Wheeler Floyd and Ettie Elizabeth Driggers Floyd. He was a retired Supervisor from Southern Coatings Paint Company of Sumter, he was a former Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Choir Member, and a member of Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church. He is preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Elise F. Powell; seven brothers, J. L. Floyd, W. Carlisle Floyd, S. Bethea Floyd, Rev. J. Burdell Floyd, Adrian Floyd, Benjamin Floyd, and Rev. J. Carnell Floyd. He is surived by his wife, Joyce Floyd of New Zion; one daughter, ElizaBeth Floyd Yarborough (BD) of New Zion; two sons, David W. Floyd, Jr. (Cindy) of New Zion, Donald W. Floyd of Sumter; one sister, Winnie Mae Bagnal of New Zion; five grandchildren, Bryce Wheeler Floyd, Tyler Wilson Floyd (Hannah), Burnes Yarborough, Hannah Yarborough, Rachel Yarborough; Nieces and Nephews, and Grand-Nieces and Grand-Nephews that he loved dearly.
