Olanta - Elbert John "EJ" Eaddy, Jr., age 73, died November 22, 2017 in McLeod Hospice House after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, November 26, 2017 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Lake City Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Floyd Funeral Home on Saturday from 5 - 7 PM. Mr. Eaddy was born in Florence County, a son of the late Elbert John Eaddy and Ora Nona Hanna Eaddy. He was a retired truck driver for UPS, and was a member of Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church where he was a prayer warrior. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Phyllis Langley Eaddy, a brother, James Richard "Rich" Eaddy, and a niece Tonya Eaddy Gregory. Surviving are his wife; Vangie L. Eaddy of Olanta, a daughter, Cynthia Eaddy (Paul) Miles of Johnsonville, a step-daughter, Tonya (Michael) Jordan of Irmo; a step son, Kelvin (Darlene) Vause of Swansea; Eight grandchildren, Wynde Miles (Walt) Clark, Jonathan Paul Miles, Kayley Ann Miles, Kelsey Elaine Miles, Kelli Vause (Justin) Ulmer, Devan (Lindsey) Jordan, Kasey Vause, and Alyssa Jordan. Four great-grandchildren, Whitley Elizabeth Clark, Weslyn Eaddy Clark, Garrett William Ulmer, and Peyton Blevins.
