Mr. Steve Johnson

Lynchburg Mr. Steve Alan Johnson, age 65 passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018 at his home after a long illness. Funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday, October 18, 2018 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with visitation one hour prior to service; burial will be held at Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Thadeus A. Johnson and Mildred Ethel Thornhill Johnson. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church,in earlier years, Steve was an avid lover of fishing, and hunting. He enjoyed hunting with the Sportsman Hunting Club, and spending time with his cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Charles Ed Atkinson; a niece, Savannah Hux. Surviving are two sisters; Debbie Lee (James "Bakey") of Lynchburg, and Lynn Weaver (Mike) of Florence.
