Mr. Tracy Mcelveen

Tracy McElveen age 84, died Friday, May 22, 2020 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence after a brief illness. A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Monday, May 25, 2020 at Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. Born in Clarendon County he was a son of the late Edward Carl McElveen and Silema Welch McElveen. One of the sweetest, most gentle men one would ever meet. "Pappy" most enjoyed his Lord, fishing, spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, family beach trips, and a lot of laughter during Christmas. He was a retired auto parts salesman for NAPA, and a member of Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Joanne Hickson; one brother, Ronald McElveen. He is survived by his wife Jan Beasley McElveen of Turbeville; two sons, Jonathan (Kristi) McElveen, Josh (Susan) McElveen all of Turbeville; three sisters, Myrna Thames of Columbia, Carolyn (Wendell) Morris of Manning, Mary (James) Beasley of Turbeville; two brothers, Lloyd (Rhunett) McElveen of Turbeville, Vernon (Cindy) McElveen of Batesburg-Leesville; four grandchildren, Ansley McElveen, Harley McElveen, Peyton McElveen, and Paislee McElveen.
