Mrs Ellen Marie Taylor

LAKE CITY – Ellen Marie Taylor, age 59, died Wednesday, March 24, 2021, at Lake City Community Hospital. Born August 7, 1961, in Spartanburg, SC. She was a daughter of Lenora Maude Bauknight Robertson and the late Franklin Glen Konow. She was a member of Friendship United Methodist Church of Rock Hill and The National Federation of the Blind, Rock Hill Chapter. She is survived by her mother; her Fiancé, John Culick of Lake City; and a very large extended family. A funeral service will be held 11am on Saturday, March 27, 2021, at Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Irmo with Rev.’s John Bauknight, David Bauknight, and Tammy Grey officiating. Burial will follow in the church’s cemetery. Pallbearers will be J.M. Culick, Terry Culick, Bobby Culick, Shawn Mims, Charles Privette, and Russell Vinson. The family will hold a visitation one hour prior to the funeral service in the church’s sanctuary. The family request that memorials be made to Rocky Bottom Retreat and Conference Center of the Blind, 119 S. Kilbourne Road, Columbia, SC 29205.
