Mrs. Lillie Bell Floyd

New Zion - Mrs. Lille Bell Floyd, 85, widow of J.L. Floyd, passed away on March 13, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Walter Dudley and Bertie Floyd Beard. A visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, March 15th at Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church. A funeral service will be 4:00 PM Thursday, March 16th at the church with burial to follow in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. She was the retired owner and operator of Lillie's Flower and Gift Shop in New Zion, and she was a member of Pine Dale P.H. Church. Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn (Dexter) Culick and a son, Wayne "Squrl" (Sharon) Floyd both of New Zion. Her grandchildren, Rev. Chad (Danielle) Culick, Will (Amy) Culick, Greta C. (Dustin) Welch, Jessica F. (Wesley) Barrineau, Evan Floyd, and Kasey Wren Floyd. Her great grandchildren, Dayton and Daylee Culick, Bethany, Carly, and Jessie Culick, Kamryn Welch, Nolan and Nora Layne Barrineau. A sister, Lavona Thornbrew of New Zion. She was preceded in death by sisters, Eleanor Welch, and Annie Lou Morris; a brother, Ivey Beard.
