Mrs. Melba Faye Jones

Melba Faye Jones Timmonsville- Melba Faye Jones age 77, died April 15, 2018 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday April 19, 2018 at Bethany Free Will Baptist Church, 4071 Creek Road Timmonsville, SC 29161. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 PM on Wednesday evening at Floyd Funeral Home. Born in Clarendon County, she was a daughter of the late William Albert Welch and Ellarine Coker Welch. She attended Bethany Free Will Baptist Church where she was a member of the Yvonne Vause Sunday School Class and the Hattie Kirby Circle. She was retired from General Telephone Company in San Angelo, Tx. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Lee Jones, a sister, Shirley Dean Welch Vause, and two brothers, J. W. Welch and Seth Van Welch. Surviving are a daughter, Cheryl Lynn Jones (Doug) Floyd of Florence, sons, Tim Lee (Becky) Jones of San Angelo, Tx., and Kim Lewis Jones of Timmonsville, a brothers, Arlis (Martha) Welch of Florence and O'Neal (Nancy) Welch of Georgetown. 7 grandchildren.
