Mrs. Ola Mae Welch

Ola Mae Welch Lake City Mrs. Ola Mae Mims Welch age 82, died peacefully Monday, January 30, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6-8p.m. tonight (Wednesday) at the funeral home and other times at the home of Kim Mims, 1200 New Zion Road, Lake City. Born in Williamsburg County she was a daughter of the late Thomas Mims and Haseltine Miles Mims. She was a homemaker and attended New Piney Grove Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wade Henry Welch; one grand-daughter, Tara Feagin; one sister, Bernice Feagin; one brother, Troy Mims; and a special aunt, Eunie Mims. She is survived by four daughters, Judy (Wayne) Frye, Linda Feagin, Lisa (David) Malone and Kim Mims all of Lake City; two sisters, Grethel Filyaw and Dolly (Larry) Matthews both of Cades; one brother, Vinroe (Linda) Mims of Lake City; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
