Mrs. Shirley Ann Welch

Shirley Ann Scurry Welch, 68, of Turbeville, South Carolina passed away Saturday June 6, 2020. She was a seamstress who loved children and enjoyed working in the yard. She loved flowers and was known to be 'hard-headed'. She was strong, independent, and a good cook. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Barney and Ella Scurry; daughter, Donna Melissa Welch; and brothers, Larry and Moody Scurry. She is survived by her husband of 52 years Donnie R. Welch; daughter, Sheila A. Hickman (Charles); sons, Kevin R. Welch (Gina) and Daniel R. Peebles; sisters, Bonnie Yates (Billy) and Janice Dennis; brother, Jerry Scurry; and grandchildren, Donna Melissa A. Hickman, Junior Hickman, and Hunter Welch.
