Timmonsville Ms. Lillie Mae Lambert, age 89, of the Cusaac's community, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018 at her home after an illness. Funeral services will be held 3pm Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Unity Christian Fellowship with burial in the church cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home of Olanta. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm prior to the service at the church. Born in Kershaw County, she was a daughter of the late Robert Snipes and Mattie Dease Snipes. She was the wife of the late Reverend John Cecil Lambert, a member of Unity Christian Fellowship where she served as a Sunday school teacher, worked with the Girls Ministry, Women's Ministry, many of the Youth organizations, and served on the Benevolence committee. She was preceded in death by her husband; and a daughter, Linda Lynch. Surviving are two daughters, Betty Sue Parsons (Virgil) of Wagner, S.C., and Debra Wilkes (Jack) of Timmonsville; two sons, Eugene Lambert (Sandra) of Lancaster, and Michael Lambert (Wanda) of Effingham; a son-in-law, Richard Lynch of Timmonsville; nine grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
