Cades - Myers Hayward Floyd age 68, died May 20, 2015 in a Lake City hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock PM Saturday May 23, 2015 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Old Piney Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 - 8 PM Friday. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Willie Mosco Floyd and Annie Francis Cox Floyd. He was a retired equipment operator with South Carolina Department of Transportation. Preceded in death are two brothers, (infant) Randolph Floyd and James A. Floyd; Three brothers-in-law, Sidney Welch, Delmus Dennis, and Nelson Tedder; a Nephew, Johnny Welch. Surviving are his wife, Clarice Bell Floyd of Cades, daughters, Sheri Floyd Wilson of Cades and Shannon (Allen) Floyd Lee of Coward, a son, William Brett Floyd of Cades, Sisters, Thelma Welch of Turbeville, Judy (Glenn) McKay of Timmonsville, Maurice (Jimmy) Baird and Faye (Jimmy) Powell of Lugoff, a brother, Edward Floyd of Coward, two grandchildren, Keri and Blake Lee.
