Orell Bingham

Orell Bingham, age 88, died September 13, 2019 in a Lexington care facility after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 5 PM Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery, directed by Floyd Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5 PM prior to the service. Born in Florence County, he was a son of the late Jimmy Fadden Bingham and Ruth McClam Bingham. Mr. Bingham was a retired banker, having assisted in opening and managing bank branches in Olanta and Turbeville. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn Miles Bingham; a daughter, Sharon Parks; two sisters, Bernice Bingham Barrineau and Dotsy Ruth Bingham Atkinson. Surviving are a daughter Hope (Douglas) Suggs of West Columbia; three grandchildren, Lindsay Nelson, Brittney Thompson, and Savanna Smith; four great-grandchildren, Carter, Braelan, and Oliver Nelson, and Beckham Mabe.
