Ozelle Hancock Wallace Mrs. Ozelle Hancock Wallace, 90, of Florence, S. C. went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at McLeod Hospice House. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday March 19, at the Olanta Baptist Church with burial in the church cemetery directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Friday, March 18, 2011 at the funeral home. She was born August 6, 1920 in Olanta, to Clarence Mahoney Hancock and Goldie Hodge Hancock. She graduated from Olanta High School, class of 1938. As a lifelong member of Olanta Baptist Church, she enjoyed all phases of Church work. As a homemaker, she enjoyed taking care of her family, baking and being a special friend to many. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Washington Wallace. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Randolph James Hancock, Jimmy Edward Hancock, and Fred Hancock. Surviving to cherish her memory are three daughters: Gwen Wallace of Florence, Dianne (Rodney) Chandler of Florence, Johnnie Faye (Roger) Nesbitt of Lynchburg; one sister, Wilberta (Tom) Seigler of Florence, sisters-in-laws, Patsie Hancock of Charleston, Margaret Hancock of Sumter, six grandchildren, Jody (Shay) Chandler, Tammi (Blake) Gibson, Melissa (Robbie) Truluck, Amy (Jerry) Yarborough, Lyle (Joyce) Nesbitt, Jon (Lisa) Nesbitt, fourteen great-grandchildren: Madeline, Abigail, Jackson and Olivia Gibson, Bella Grace, Laine and John Hampton Chandler, Kelsey, Hunter and Kirsten Truluck, Adair and Anabel Yarborough, Mackayla and C.
