Patricia WelchFlorence- Patricia Welch age 75 died April 3, 2014 at her home after an illness.Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock pm Sunday April 6, 2014 at Floyd Funeral Home Chapel in Olanta with Burial in Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery in Turbeville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Born in Florence County, she was a daughter of the late Charlie R. Kirby and Louise Morris Kirby. She was a homemaker and a member of North Gate Baptist Church.She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie E. Welch, Sr., a daughter Cherie R. Welch, two brothers, Julian Kirby and Wayne Kirby.Surviving are a daughter, Karen Carmichael Gaskins (Donald) of Florence, a son, Chuck (Sherry) Welch of Florence. A brother, Jim (Louise) Kirby of Laurinburg, grandchildren, Mark A. Carmichael, Daniel Carmichael, Amber (Robin) Thompson, Jennifer (Kyle) Terry, Dustin C. Welch, and Brandy (Keenan) Lavigne, Six great-grandchildren.The family would like to thank Embrace Hospice for the care they gave during her illness.Memorials may be made to Horse Branch Free Will Baptist Church 1097 Horse Branch Rd.
