BARRINEAU – Patsy Irene Gibbons Floyd, 75, widow of Charles Fraidy Floyd, entered her eternal rest on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Turbeville on April 28, 1949, she was a daughter of the late Sidney Gibbons and the late Irene Yates Gibbons. She was a member of the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church. Patsy was a devoted housewife who dedicated her life to caring for her family and home. She was known for her kind heart and gentle spirit, always putting others before herself. She is survived by two daughters, Melissa F. (Russell) Floyd and Patty (Mark) Daniels all of Lake City; three grandchildren, Trey (Sloane) Daniels, Logan (Rylee Ehrhardt) Daniels and Wyatt Floyd; one great grandson, Rowan Daniels; one sister, Mary (Bill) Wallace of Turbeville; two brothers, Johnny (Marbeth) Gibbons of Turbeville and James (Gloria) Gibbons of Texas; one Brother-in-law, Bud Jones of New Zion; one sister-in-law, Betty (Johnny) Lee of Lake City; “Fur Babies” Milo, Dutchess, Jolien, and Reba; .and friends who will always cherish the memories they shared with her. She was preceded in death by her husband; one grandson, Russell Dale Floyd, Jr. ; one sister, Wanda Jones; three brothers, Ronald Gibbons, David Gibbons, and Robert Gibbons. A funeral service will be held 4:00pm on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev’s Bobby Floyd and Michael Canty officiating. Interment will follow in the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Tommy Wallace, Joey Jones, Lee Gibbons, C. J. Driggers, Matthew Gray, and Trent Floyd. A visitation will be from 3 – 4PM on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the church and at other times at the home of Patty and Mark Daniels, 4009 Barrineau Road, Lake City, SC.
