Perry L. Coker Turbeville - Perry Legrand Coker age 66, died March 3, 2012 at his home after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock PM Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Great Commission Ministries with burial in Pine Dale Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetry directed by FLOYD FUNERAL HOME, visitation will be held from 2 -4 PM just prior to the service at Great Commission Ministries. Born in Clarendon County, he was a son of the late Alpha C. Coker and Eleafere Welch Coker. Mr. Coker was retired as Chief Deputy of Clarendon County after 25 years of service and he was a member of Great Commission Ministries. Perry had the heart of a servant, as a Christian he served God With a love that was evident to all around him. He was a giver in every way and his heart was always in missions. To his family he was a rock ad a constant support. In his occupation, he served the citizens of Clarendon County. He loved his hometown and all of the people who made it what it is. He was a true supporter of the "Garnet and Black" and loved being a Gamecock. He is loved and will be sorely missed. He was preceded in death by a son, Teddy Legrand Coker and a son-in-law, Stacy Moody. Surviving are his wife, Suzanne Morris Coker of Turbeville, three daughters, Carol Lynn "Le'Son" (Marvin) Geddings, Robin Moody, and Rebecca Anne Coker all of Turbeville. Three grandchildren, Joshua Legrand Geddings, Cole Moody, and Hannah Moody. He had two special "adopted" sons, Glen Barron of New Zion, and Tommy J. Barron of Sumter.
